RFID Electronic Ear Tags

RFID Electronic Ear Tags

Description

The RFID electronic ear tag consists of a male stud and a female tag base, with a built-in EM4305 low-frequency RFID chip. It complies with ISO 11784/11785 livestock identification standards and is mainly used for individual pig identification, disease prevention registration, and livestock traceability. It is suitable for large-scale pig farms and can also be used for cattle and sheep, supporting traceability management for export markets.

Features

  • Two-piece design: The male tag features a sharp metal stud, while the female tag contains the RFID chip. Installation is completed by pressing the two parts together with a dedicated ear tag applicator.
  • A pressure-relief hole is reserved on the top of the female tag to release air during installation and reduce stress cracking.
  • One-time anti-tamper locking mechanism: once installed, the tag cannot be removed without damage, helping prevent unauthorized replacement.
  • Passive RFID chip: powered by the magnetic field of the reader, it operates reliably in pig farm environments from −20°C to +70°C.
  • Required accessories: Dedicated ear tag applicator and RFID handheld reader.
