Project Overview
This project was an environmental improvement project for a pig farm operated by Jinan Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Shandong, China, in 2024. During intensive pig farming, odor gases such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide, along with dust, can affect animal health, working conditions and environmental management. Traditional ventilation methods can only partially improve air circulation and cannot effectively reduce odor emissions.
To improve air quality and enhance environmental management, the client upgraded the pig farm deodorization system. Based on the pig house structure, farm scale and environmental requirements, Jizhuwu provided a customized deodorization solution to reduce odor impact and improve the barn environment.
Client Pain Points
1. Large amounts of odor gases generated during pig production affected air quality.
2. Ammonia and dust were difficult to control in intensive farming environments.
3. Traditional environmental treatment methods could not fully meet modern requirements.
4. The farm required a stable and durable deodorization solution for long-term operation.
Our Solution
Jizhuwu provided a professional deodorization system solution according to the customer’s requirements.
The system uses deodorization equipment and plastic deodorizing nets to reduce odor emissions generated during livestock production. The plastic deodorizing net is made of corrosion-resistant materials with excellent durability and adaptability to high-humidity and ammonia-rich environments.
Based on the pig house layout and ventilation conditions, Jizhuwu optimized the system configuration and installation design to ensure effective integration with the farm environment.
Project Achievements
After installation, the pig house air quality was significantly improved and odor impact was effectively reduced. The stable operation of the deodorization system enhanced environmental management efficiency and provided a more sustainable and efficient solution for intensive pig farming.
